Last Saturday afternoon we took the kids to a corn maze at a nearby dairy farm. This year we decided to take the farm tour. Although the farm is no longer a working dairy farm, they do still have a few cows to demonstrate milking for the kids. There's also a hay ride that the kids loved, and a chance to feed and pet some farm animals.
After the tour, we headed to the corn maze. That's always a lot of fun. The kids like to take turns picking which way to go at each turn, and then they run, until they get to a dead end. I think they have the most fun running in circles and getting lost!
After finding our way out of the maze, we stopped for a quick lemonade icy, and then it was on to the pillow jumper. This is Alex's favorite activity. He could jump all day, and it's always a challenge to convince him to leave! Tyler really enjoyed jumping this year too. In the past the crowd of kids scared him and he had a hard time with balance. This year he had tons of fun jumping with daddy, and he also jumped a little bit on his own! Michael enjoyed jumping with the big kids too, and sliding down into the sand. I took Lily to the smaller pillow for the little kids. She was very excited when she saw it and ran right up, then sat down in the corner and just smiled and smiled as kids jumped around her. I couldn't convince her to stand up, but she seemed to really enjoy herself!
